A common question often asked to us when people first walk around an AirFLEX, AirFLEX SDX, or RDX Grain Belt, is “where is the hydraulic reservoir?” or “where are all the hydraulics?” The short answer is, they don’t see them because they aren’t there.
Our drapers have a mechanical drive system which attracts a lot of attention, and all for a good reason. They feature a direct drive, so there are no gearboxes, wobble boxes, or hydraulics. The mechanical drive system is designed to synchronize knives in opposite motion to minimize vibration transferred to the frame and combine.
The result is clean cuts, lighter table weight, more fuel efficiency, better accessibility, and easier fixes or adjustments. Now, this seems to be a win-win result that you can achieve by using our draper and technology.
Another part that makes us stand out is our “Low Profile Cutting System.” Our specially designed guard boasts a lower knife profile than the standard guard cutting system, which means that you can cut lower to the ground than anything else on the market. A low-cutting knife gives you the upper hand in adverse field conditions.
