Setting Up A Demo For Growers

The Roadmap to a Demo

As we navigate through this harvest season, we thought you might want a bit of a road map to set up demos. First, there is the how, and then there are the expectations and considerations.

How:

Pretty simple - if you would like to set up a demo, contact our sales rep soon as you have a confirmed interested party and time frame and we’ll discuss the opportunity and availability.

Expectations:

• Our demos are typically for one day, maybe two if there is merit

• Demos are first come first serve and subject to location, time, and distance

• To set up on a combine, we need to install our power harness, set feeder house angle, adjust our feed drum, and perform calibration to set cut height. This can take up to 2 hours depending on adjustments needed

• We will get the grower going and then leave them alone to experience the header in action

Considerations:

• Harvest days, sometimes can be very short and leads to scarcity of demos

• Table availability can be limited, so schedule the demo as soon as possible

• Weather – we all know what weather can do to plans

• Combine compatibility - changing the adapters can take up to 8 hours

• Farmer interest – is the farmer in the market or just looking to run some machinery for free
