All4pack 2022: Cabka combines innovation and sustainability
At All4pack Cabka shows a foldable large container on wheels and new pallets.
How to combine innovation and sustainability? Visitors to All4Pack in Paris, France (November 23 – 26, 2022) will find answers to this question at the Cabka booth L124 in Hall 5A, where the market leader for reusable transport packaging solutions made from recycled plastic will be presenting the new CabRoll: a foldable large container on wheels, which is perfect for minimising the ecological footprint and CO2 emissions in retail transport and logistics. Another new products that Cabka shows at the fair are the Euro E7.2 pallet and the Retail E5.3 pallet.
Transformation is the motto that drives Cabka. It is not just about turning plastic waste into innovative products. Cabka wants to use these products to transform entire industries and their supply chains towards greater sustainability and efficiency.
Cargo on wheels
An absolute innovation at the Cabka booth is the CabRoll, which was developed for the retail trade for picking products. This three-piece foldable large container on wheels streamlines the flow of goods from distribution centers and warehouses to stores, including last mile deliveries. CabRoll provides significant efficiency gains in transport and logistics and enables the circular economy approach. On one hand, the units offer superior product protection, resulting in less product damage and waste. On the other, thanks to its collapsibility ratio, the CabRoll offers superior performance in reverse logistics.
The CabRoll is also more ergonomic in the shop floor. The user can easily load and unload the slim container with customizable sleeve even in narrow corridors. The sleeve includes two foldable reinforced shelves. A foldable cardboard holder can be placed on one short side, offering adaptable capacity.
Users can reduce their logistics and warehousing costs with this clever Cabka solution and protect the environment at the same time: The CabRoll is made from 100 % recyclable high-quality plastics and is designed for extreme usability. This makes it durable, robust and sustainable.
Safe and fast transport of goods
The two other highlights in Paris are the new Euro E7.2 pallet and the Retail E5.3 order picking pallet. Both pallets make intralogistics faster, safer and more reliable.
The Euro E7.2 pallet is a 3-runners plastic pallet has been developed to replicate as closely as possible the dimensions and load-bearing capacity of a standard wood Euro pallet. As a result, the Euro E7.2 pallet can be smoothly integrated into logistical circuits that are tailored to standard wooden pallets. Stoppers, light barriers and sensors in the conveyor systems do not have to be adjusted additionally. The Euro E7.2 offers a long operational life even with high circulation rates and fewer process downtimes. Sharp edges and wooden splinters, which can damage goods and conveyor systems, belong to the past. Additionally, Euro E7.2 pallets retain their material value at the end of their operational lives. They are 100 % recyclable and can be turned back into new pallets by Cabka.
The Euro E7.2 pallet has a dimension of 1,200 x 800 x 150 millimetres and is similar in construction with a Euro wooden pallet. It can carry loads of up to 7,500 kilograms and 1,250 kilograms in the high rack. Anti-slip strips and grommets ensure stable and safe handling of goods and more stability during stacking and transport. Closed skids provide trouble-free transport in automated conveying systems.
The Retail E5.3 order picking pallet replaces the traditional wooden pallets for transporting goods between the distribution center and the sales floor. The picking pallet does not require the usual runners and therefore offers significant advantages. As a nestable and thus volume-saving load carrier, this pallet reduces both warehouse and transport costs. The Retail E5.3 is robust, durable and significantly exceeds the usual service life of Europool pallets. The pallets are also convincing in terms of occupational safety with their smooth and clean surface and bevelled edges. The light-weight design facilitates manual lifting and stacking. In terms of environmental protection, the load carriers score with their resource-saving construction made of recycled plastic and the fact that the material cycle is closed at the end of their useful life.
The Retail E5.3 is available in Euro pallet dimensions of 1,200 x 800 millimeters, carries loads of up to 2,500 kilograms and is 100 percent compatible with its previous model. Compared to a wooden pallet, this lightweight can save 500 kilograms in dead weight for each truck delivery.
