A practical and natural solution for hoof care
Hoofed animals are often sensitive to humidity and can develop illnesses if their hooves are not correctly maintained.
In particular, the sole and frog of horses are particularly prone to rotting, especially in autumn and winter. Cattle hooves must also be protected from moisture.
Pine tar is a natural and very ancient product coming from the carbonization of pine wood. Its healing, astringent and antiseptic properties make it an excellent protector for animal hooves. Regular application forms a real protective barrier which prevents the penetration of fungi and bacteria, sanitizes and dries the hooves to prevent rotting. It can also be used after hoof trimming for cattle, which will thus benefit from optimal and long-lasting care.
Simple and quick, the application of Norwegian tar is done on a dry and clean hoof, and can be repeated as many times as necessary.
