Case previews electrified compact wheel loader
CL36EV and new models from the compact wheel laoder range debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023
After experiencing much success in the North American market since its official launch in 2014, CASE Construction’s compact wheel loader range will expand to include a new fully electric model and an enhanced existing model to cater to the demanding worksites of today.
The CL36EV is a 3.6 metric ton machine with a hinge pin height of over 10 feet. According to CASE, the machine delivers the same power and performance as comparably sized diesel-powered loaders. It delivers all the benefits of electrification such as less noise and no emissions in a machine with a small footprint that is ideal for applications such as supply yards, large-scale building renovations and construction where indoor operation may be required.
Additional product information and commercial availability for the CL36EV will be announced at a later date.
Also on display at CONEXPO 2023 is a newly enhanced 321F compact wheel loader with an all-new seven-inch display and updated electro-hydraulic controls that perform and react with more of the premium settings and functionality that CASE full-sized wheel loaders offer.
New axles on the 321F allow for travel speeds up to 40km/h. A new Smart Mode also provides better fuel economy without impacting productivity.
The enhanced model will also include CASE’s SiteConnect Module that offers collaborative fleet management capabilities. The module is currently being integrated into many CASE products to enhance the overall fleet management experience. It improves telematics data transfer and allows for remote access and software uploads to bring together fleet managers, their dealers, and CASE HQ for optimal equipment management and service to prevent downtime.
The CASE compact wheel loader updates will be introduced later in 2023.
