Farmlift 742 Telescopic Loader made its public debut at the AgQuip 2022 field days

In response to producers’ calls for a telehandler to be added to Case IH’s line up Down Under, the company has announced the launch of its Farmlift 742 designed to take the hard work out of lifting and shifting on farms.

“This is the first time we’ve offered a telescopic loader in this market and in doing so we wanted to give customers looking for a product like this a Case IH option, which they haven’t had in the past,” said Case IH ANZ Product Specialist for Hay and Harvest, Andrew Wood.

“Where there is a need we try to seek solutions by adding new products when we can, and the Farmlift is a great example of this.”

The Case IH Farmlift 742 made its official debut at the AgQuip 2022 field days in Gunnedah, NSW, which is running from August 16 to 18 this year.

With a maximum lift capacity of 4200kg and a lift height up to 7m, the Farmlift 742 Telescopic Loader makes easy work of moving heavy loads on and off trucks, or between locations.

“Farmers will often use a tractor with a loader for certain jobs, but you can sometimes find that a tractor with a loader can be limited in how much you can lift, and how high you can lift it,” Wood said.

“Most tractors will not be able to match the Farmlift for reach or capacity because a telescopic loader is specifically designed for that kind of work.”

Four-wheel drive for added traction is standard and four-wheel steering to manoeuvre in tight spaces delivers even more flexibility. The wheels have also been pushed out to each corner of the machine, lengthening the overall wheelbase which improves the ride as well as the overall machine’s stability, Case IH said.

Wood added the Farmlift is simple to operate, and is capable of ground speeds of up to 40km/h.

The Case IH Farmlift 742 Telescopic Loader can be ordered now from selected Case IH dealers.
