New HARDI SARITOR 7000 Mallee Edition surfaces

Next generation SARITOR 7000 self-propelled sprayer features cool new black exterior and integrated LED light bar

HARDI Australia has officially launched its new generation SARITOR 7000 self-propelled sprayer into the market, following a launch event at its Adelaide head office in July attended by over 100 dealers and customers.

The sprayer, designed and built in Adelaide, has a whole new look featuring a stunning satin black laser cut grill and integrated LED light bar.

The infinitely variable four-wheel drive on the sprayer is controlled by a hydrostatic transmission, powered by a 300hp Cummins QSB 6.7-litre Tier-3 diesel engine.

Nozzle and technology

Some of the exciting upgrades in the HARDI SARITOR 7000 concern its technology offering, which have all been designed to make spraying more efficient for producers.

The new SARITOR comes with HARDI’s ActivAir nozzle system which uses the machine’s onboard air supply to instantly open and close nozzles on demand, with no dripping.

A Triple Tier 12 rapid nozzle switching technology adjusts the spray rate instantly and accurately without affecting the fluid velocity or the droplet size, HARDI says.

Another feature is the H-Select that is a HARDI exclusive. The system coordinates up to four different nozzles at each nozzle body to continually maintain the required target rate across the whole boom over the entire speed range.

Also available with the SARITOR 7000 is HARDI’s innovative spot spraying system – GeoSelect. The system does away with conventional optic sensors or cameras and utilizes spatial data to identify weed locations and works with H-Select to spot spray weeds in the field.

New cab and controls

The cab has also been redesigned and offers a number of creature comfort features including a comfortable high back operator’s seat and a new refrigerator.

An intuitive new control console features a clean and clear layout and reduces clutter in the cab.

The heart of the cab is HARDI’s new Integrated Vehicle Experience, or HIVE. This advanced control system includes a completely remodelled armrest console with integrated dial and joystick interface, plus a head up display that shows critical information at eye level.

The HIVE concept extends to the filling station with the new HIVE system screen. The screen displays clear filling information plus a set of visual guides and videos, so operators can fill the SARITOR quickly and safely.
