Grimme updates Rexor beet harvesters

Grimme has redesigned the digging attachment on its Rexor beet harvesters.

The 6200 (30cu m bunker capacity) and 6300 (45cu m) models now feature seven cleaning rollers as standard to improve performance in claggy soil.

Both the Oppel wheel and digging unit with walking shares come with maintenance-free drives and a new, lighter-weight scalper has helped reduce clutter. In doing so, it provides operators with a better view to the digging unit and roller bed.

The in-cab package includes a CCI 1200 Isobus-compatible terminal and Grimme’s SmartView video system. This has a “slow-motion” feature that allows the driver to get a better idea of what is happening, and up to eight camera images can be displayed on the 12in touchscreen at one time.

Telematics is also standard, providing live information via Grimme’s online portal. This means owners can view progress on a smartphone or computer, and acts as a hub to store work information such as operating time and fuel consumption.

For the first time, Grimme is also offering its Rexors with a four-year warranty.
