NEW HOLLAND INTRODUCES 5 NEW PRODUCTS

Along with many other manufacturers, New Holland has focused on introducing equipment for smaller, specialized operations and livestock farmers ahead of the 2020 National Farm Machinery Show and World Ag Expo. Here’s a peek at five of their recently announced products.

WORKMASTER UTILITY TRACTORS

The company unveiled three new models of Workmaster utility tractors available in 95, 105, and 120 horsepower this week. These standard features on the Workmaster cab models were designed to offer comfort and visibility:

High-back, air-suspension seat with armrests

Front and rear wiper and washers

Heating and AC

Tilt steering wheel

Deluxe radio with speakers

A special model was designed with poultry farmers who need to navigate low-clearance buildings in mind. The Poultry House Special version is equipped with an engine-reversing fan that easily blows feathers off the grill.

“We carefully designed these new value models to provide ease of operation, greater visibility, and, in the case of our Poultry House Special, exclusive features to meet the unique needs of chicken producers,” says Todd DeBock, product marketing manager.

BIGBALER 349 HIGH DENSITY

The new BigBaler 340 High Density makes bales up to 22% more dense than conventional square balers, claims New Holland. Denser bales can be handled more efficiently, offering a time and fuel savings for commercial hay growers and large livestock producers. This machine was unveiled publicly for the first time at World Ag Expo.

“With the new BigBaler 340 High Density, New Holland invests to further enrich in its hay and forage offering,” says Carlo Lambro, New Holland brand president. “This latest model, built at our Centre of Harvesting Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium, is the culmination of more than 30 years of baling excellence, and once again raises the bar on the performance we offer our customers.”

300 SERIES SKID STEER AND COMPACT TRACK LOADERS

Farmers will soon be able to purchase skid steers and compact track loaders with more visibility and greater height and reach than before from New Holland with the launch of the new 300 Series. Eleven new models ranging from 60 to 90 gross horsepower are included in this introduction.

“The 300 Series builds on the strength of prior models, offering an enhanced ergonomic interior and advancements to major exterior features, allowing for greater visibility, power for any application, and the durability operators expect,” says product marketing manager Ryan Anderson.

A simple operator interface provides new features such as maintenance tracking, engine protection, and ignition time-out to ensure maximum uptime. The 8-in. LCD display shows:

T5 AUTOCOMMAND AND DYNAMIC COMMAND

New Holland has announced the extension of their T5 tractor range with the addition of the Dynamic Command and AutoCommand transmission models.

T5 AutoCommand features New Holland’s continuously variable transmission for more versatility and comfort and is designed for PTO applications. T5 Dynamic Command is highly maneuverable and delivers maximum productivity and efficiency on farms where loader work and transport are the most important.

U.S. dealers will receive the T5.130 and T5.140 in Dynamic Command and AutoCommand in spring 2020.

TH7.42 ELITE LARGE-FRAME TELEHANDLER

New Holland launched the new TH7.42 Elite large-frame telehandler as part of a new series of telehandlers they have planned. More models of this telehandler series will be released in late 2020. New Holland is the only full-line agriculture equipment company to offer telehandlers in the U.S.

This machine boasts 129 horsepower, a 22.9-foot reach, and 9,259 lb. lift capacity. It’s powered by a 4.5L engine. The also company touts the superior visibility and comfort of this machine.

“We know this will be a perfect fit on many of our customers’ operations, whether they need a tool for bale handling, silage handling, manure management, feeding, or many other material handling applications,” says product marketing leader Doran Herritt.
