Sprayer manufacturer Agrifac focusing on the 4 Es

SPRAYER manufacturer Agrifac has a tried and true set of values it uses in determing what goes into its products.

Speaking at the Wimmera Machinery Field Days earlier in the month Agrifac sales manager Mark Bastian said the company looked to the 4 Es - efficiency, economy, ergonomics and ecology when making design advances on its machinery.

Mr Bastian said there had been good enquiry at the field days, spurred by Agrifac's reputation for innovation and use of new technologies.

However, he said Agrifac was far more than just an early adapter of technology.

"Recent innovations can make it easy to forget the fundamental features of the Agrifac range," Mr Bastian said.

He said the fundamentals of a reliable sprayer, the frame and the boom were well designed, with a stable underaccriage to prevent swaying and potential issues with drift.

The company's J-Boom system is designed to offer stability and accuracy in terms of application.

There was a lot of interest in the company's Condor range, with its large capacity and reputation for technical advances.
