Montag Manufacturing Recognized with Water Quality Initiative Award

Montag Manufacturing was honored to have been selected to receive the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) Water Quality Initiative award. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig, recognized Montag Mfg. during the breakfast and award meeting at the Agribusiness Assn. of Iowa Showcase and Conference, Feb. 13, 2019.

Award recipients are selected by IDALS for this specific recognition based on the following criteria:

Working toward advancement of practices/technologies highlighted in the Iowa Nutrient Strategy (NRS)

Helping deliver technical assistance to advance NRS practice implementation

Developed/promoting products or fertility programs that improve delivery and use of NRS practices and/or systems of practices

Making investments to deliver improvements in nutrient use efficiency/other practices in the NRS

Recognized leaders in production and conservation/environmental stewardship.

Involved with supporting the NRS and WQI projects
