AcreValue and Peoples Company Enhance Online Land Value Tool

Peoples Company will partner with AcreValue, a product of California-based Granular, as the first brokerage partner.

AcreValue will now feature Peoples Company listings. The AcreValue site is used by tens of thousands of farmland owners, buyers and renters across the U.S. to understand the current value of their land and evaluate prospective land for purchase or rent. AcreValue analyzes terabytes of data about soils, climate, crop rotations, taxes, interest rates, and corn prices to calculate the estimated value of an individual field.

Peoples Company provides land brokerage, management, investment and appraisal services in 14 states, mainly in the Midwest. A year ago, Peoples Company launched “What’s My Farm Worth” and this enhanced tool will replace that previously developed site.
