Founded in 1962 by Giancarlo Losi and under the same family control ever since, the Lombardy-based company Mintor has specialized from the outset in the production and marketing of components, particularly plugs, for a wide variety of hydraulic applications. After relocating from Pavia to nearby Cura Carpignano in the late 1960s, the company embarked on a growth path that led it to acquire new spaces and expand its facilities several times. Certified UNI EN ISO 9001-2015, the company has made its understanding of the challenges and needs of end customers and its attention to the technical and commercial developments of the industries it serves two of its key strengths. This is a challenging mission, but one that, if pursued with passion, allows the company to remain reliable and competitive in a diverse market. Its longevity and success, both nationally and internationally, are due to the comprehensive offering offered by Mintor's catalog. The range includes filler and drain plugs with hexagonal, hollow hexagonal, and grippable heads, in a variety of shapes and sizes, as well as magnetic plugs for removing ferrous residue from lubricants. A variety of solutions, including dual-valve ones, characterize the range of vent plugs—"to normalize pressure differences within the containment volumes to the desired conditions"—and filler plugs. These include more traditional models along with others equipped with a controlled opening system with a padlock or keyhole. There are also caps with inclined flanges, level indicators (vertical, rod, with float, visible), and the importance of custom models.
