A world first: a 2 500 m3 self-supporting flexible tank!

Labaronne-Citaf has accepted the challenge of flexible storage by manufacturing the largest flexible tank in the world: a storage capacity of 2 500 m3.

3 years ago, our Italian customer asked us to work on a specific project for a very large-capacity self-supporting flexible storage tank. This volume was needed to store very large quantities of pig effluent, while waiting for spreading periods.

Our technical expertise and experience in this type of storage enabled us to bring this project to a successful conclusion, offering this partner a customized flexible tank with a record capacity of 2 500 m3!

All our teams were mobilized to work out the design, manufacture and installation protocols.

In operation for over 2 years now, this flexible tank demonstrates Labaronne-Citaf's technical expertise. Since then, other projects on the same scale have been completed in Italy!
