Fertiliser storage tank - Field crops

Nowadays, many farmers are looking for a safe storage solution for liquid fertiliser, so that it will be ready when the spreading season arrives.

For his cereal fields in the French region of Burgundy-Franche Comté, this farmer has installed on his farm a 60 m3 flexible tank with a retention system to store liquid fertiliser.

This tank, located in an old cowshed, replaces an older and smaller one that was used for storage in the past. The existing walls have been cleverly used to incorporate the retention system and the flexible tank!

With this storage capacity, he can buy the fertilizer when the prices are lower, at any time of the year, at his disposal when he needs to spread it.
