Trans-KTP 31/67: New JOSKIN Construction Tipping Trailer
JOSKIN introduces the Trans-KTP 31/67 to its range.
JOSKIN introduces the Trans-KTP 31/67 to its range. This new tipping trailer model benefits from the new features introduced by its big brother, the 34/72. With a body length of 6.7 m and a capacity of 16 m³ DIN, it can carry up to 27 tonnes of technically permissible load to reach a European COC-approved total weight of 31 tonnes.
One of the most notable new features is the simplified hydropneumatic drawbar suspension fitted as standard. This can be replaced by a cab-controlled hydraulic suspension positioned in front of the chassis, simplifying the adjustment and facilitating the pipe integration.
The 700 mm wide chassis allows wide tyres to be fitted, while still complying with the maximum authorized width. This narrow design, combined with two self-steering axles, guarantees an optimum steering angle, improving manoeuvrability.
The “Hydro-Pendul” hydraulic suspension with knee-joint also comes as standard, ensuring a constant weight on the eyelet for better traction on uneven terrain, as well as high road comfort at high speeds. It also benefits from a European certification at 40 km/h.
This suspension allows the 1st axle to be lifted to reduce tractive effort and tyre wear on unladen journeys. When the trailer is loaded, a partially lifted front axle reduces the weight at the eyelet and facilitates traction on site. As an option, the tipping trailer can be fitted with a manual slope position adjustment to level the chassis before tipping.
The body, which was previously 950 mm high, has also been increased to 1,050 mm and can be fitted with various covering systems.
Like all TP tipping trailers in the JOSKIN range, the Hardox 450 body is tapered – wider at the rear than at the front –, the door has a very large clearance and the tipping angle is maximized. These assets ensure easy, unhindered emptying of every material.
The Trans-KTP 31/67 is available immediately.
