What are irrigation reels?

A self-propelled sprinkler that uses polyethylene pipes to distribute water directly on the field. It is a system composed of a trolley, which supports the tube, and a towing system, which allows you to move the roll from one area to another.

How an irrigation reel works

Thanks to its rather simple operation, the reel is a widely used solution in agricultural irrigation. Subsequently the trolley is towed towards the opposite end and the pipe unwinds. During watering, the drum mounted on the hose reel rewinds the hose automatically, thanks to the pressure of the incoming water, pulling the trolley on which the sprinkler jet is mounted at a constant speed.
