METHANISATION GENERATOR SET
Generator set 35 kVA
The aim of the methanisation site is to diversify the income of a farm focused on arable crops, while at the same time taking an environmental approach. In addition, the project has been designed to operate mainly on a self-sufficient input basis, using intermediate crops and beet pulp.
Since the end of 2019, the methanisation unit has been feeding 55 tonnes of plant matter a day to the digesters.
As the facility is connected to the GRDF network, the biomethane produced can be distributed to around thirty surrounding municipalities. In summer, it covers 100% of needs.
The plant used a GELEC generator with a capacity of 35 kVa to supply power to the site, and subsequently to secure the site.
