CM vibrating plate and pile driver: stability in every project
Ensuring a solid and durable foundation is essential for every construction project. With the CM vibrating plate and its pile driver function, you can achieve impeccable stability for foundations or pile installations, making every project durable.
CM's vibrating plate is applicable for excavators from 1 to 30 tons. Its purpose is to compact the soil after excavation, an essential process to ensure a stable and solid base to build. The vibrations emitted by the plate reduce the gaps between soil particles, increasing their density and improving the bearing capacity of the soil. This action is crucial in preventing subsidence and instability in construction, ensuring a long life span.
CM's PV series vibrating plate range is made of 6 models. From model PV 60.100 onwards (applicable to excavators from 11 tons), the units are equipped with a double eccentric.
The double eccentric system consists of two eccentric masses mounted on two separate shafts but linked in rotation by two splined gears, generating synchronized centrifugal forces to increase the impact force. This system produces a higher impact force, allowing the plate to penetrate deeper, compact the ground more effectively, and beat the piles. It also ensures even vibration distribution, reducing residual vibration and improving both operator comfort and machine life due to reduced wear and maintenance.
In addition to its function as a compacting plate, when equipped with the hydraulic grapple and pile driver, the CM vibratory plate effectively becomes a hydraulic pile driver.
The pile driver function allows the direct installation of wooden, metal, and concrete piles in the ground. The power of the vibrations generated by the plate allows the piles to be driven precisely and effectively, ensuring lasting stability for the installed elements.
The pile driver is widely used in different areas due to its versatility and effectiveness. It is used to install fence posts in agriculture and animal husbandry, to support vineyards and other specialized crops, and for environmental protection projects in sensitive natural areas. It is also essential in river embankments and other civil engineering projects, providing essential protection against erosion and contributing to water management.
A clear example is the embankment of ditches, where the implantation of wooden piles can significantly contribute to mitigating flooding and landslide problems. Wooden piles, known for their strength and longevity and capable of withstanding considerable pressure and stress, when properly implanted along riverbanks or in areas prone to landslides, help stabilize the soil and reinforce retaining structures. These piles act as supporting elements that reduce the pressure exerted by water or ground movement, thus helping to prevent embankments from overflowing and limiting landslide expansion.
The pile driver is essential in the photovoltaic industry to install poles that support solar panel structures, ensuring stability and environmental resistance. Its installation accuracy ensures that the panels are optimally anchored and oriented to maximize energy efficiency.
Its accuracy in pole installation, combined with its ability to ensure stability, makes it indispensable in various contexts where strength and durability are essential.
