New barn for broiler production with animal-friendly (heating) technology

Much more space per bird, comfortable perches, bales of straw and a winter garden to romp about: 25,000 broilers recently tested and approved their new home, a barn in the German municipality of Seubersdorf in Bavaria. The birds are marketed under the Swiss animal welfare label “Donautal Premium”. Wanting to be able to provide his broilers with everything they need, farmer Christian Federhofer decided to use poultry equipment from Big Dutchman.
