The « Palox » : the ideal wooden bin to optimize your crops’ storage
What’s its purpose ?
The palox is a wooden box meant for agriculture in order to optimize the storage of the harvests. Indeed, it is important to manage the conservation of the crops of the year in order to deal with the annual consumption of the products, to guarantee an availability of the products throughout the year by preserving their quality in order to be able to sell the best product at the best time.
A storage in “palox” allows a greater adaptability and a better control of its storage.
The bins are adapted to each type of product, fruits or vegetables, and are adjustable in size to meet the needs of each individual or building. They can be used for ventilation as well as for drying garlic or onions for example.
The compartmentation of the products into crates limits the risks of proliferation of diseases as well as the use of phytosanitary products while providing a better shelf life of the fruits and vegetables.
It also permits to store different products or varieties of products within the same building while facilitating the handling and the traceability of the crops.
Finally, a storage in “palox” will also be less energy-consuming for more efficiency than a bulk storage and allows a better management and adaptation of the desired temperature for the conservation of products.
