AMBiotec at EuroTier 2026: Quiet Pig® Functional

AMBiotec will exhibit at EuroTier 2026, the international livestock trade fair held from 10 to 13 November in Hanover (Germany). You will find us in Hall 21, stand 21G41, with our range of nutritional supplements and phytobiotics for ruminants, pigs, poultry and horses, together with the technical team from our in-house R&D laboratory.

Quiet Pig® Functional, a recognised innovation
The EuroTier Innovation Committee, organised by the DLG, assessed 217 entries for the EuroTier Innovation Award 2026 and recognised Quiet Pig® Functional, our environmental enrichment system with phytobiotic support for pigs, as an innovation. It will also be on show at the fair's Innovation Boulevard (Hall 21, E05), the area that brings together the recognised innovations.

What is Quiet Pig® Functional?
A chewable, edible enrichment block that hangs in the pen, with a phytobiotic core of essential oils and plant extracts. It combines two functions in a single device: environmental enrichment, which meets the pig's natural need to explore, root and chew, and nutritional support for gut health. No changes to feeding or drinking systems are needed.

There is a version for each phase: weaning (1 block per 20-25 piglets), fattening (1 per 12-15 pigs), gestation (1 per 15-20 sows) and farrowing (1 per sow).

EU legislation (Directive 2008/120/EC) requires pigs to have permanent access to material that allows proper investigation and manipulation. Quiet Pig® Functional gives the farm a material that animals really use, with added nutritional support.

Quiet Pig® Functional is an environmental enrichment material with a natural complement; it is not a veterinary medicine, and its use should be assessed with the farm's veterinarian.
