Come and discover Alphatex Gel Protect, the protective net against frost in vines. For two years, we have been working with several winegrowers and wine experts to optimize our solution. This is how Gel Protect, with its set of specific innovations for protection against frost, was born. Would you like to test it?

The innovations integrated into Gel Protect break down as follows:

➡️ Color : we developed a specific white color to reflect the infrared rays emitted at night by the ground, in order to keep the heat under the net.

We named this color Snow White Ultimate.

➡️ Manufacturing : always with the aim of reflecting infrared rays, the knitting is done so that there is a smooth side, facing the ground. Indeed, the smoother a surface is, the more it will reflect infrared. In addition, the very tight knitting, with a reduced weight, aims to recreate a sort of survival blanket for the vine.

➡️ Reinforced : the net is made of a knitted strip, reinforced with polyethylene monofilaments in sensitive areas. The aim is to resist strong winds before the frost period.

➡️ Installation method : with partner winegrowers, we have developed a unique installation method. Our goal? To provide optimal responsiveness during frost episodes.
